Springfield, MA –After six weeks, the BEE Program is coming to a close.  The summer program sponsored by Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts and hosted at the UMass Center was engaging for middle and high school students throughout the Pioneer Valley.  The focus was on entrepreneurship.

The culminating event was the BEE Program’s version of “Shark Tank.”   Eight student companies presented their products ranging from “Picto-Frames” to speakers for mobile devices and customized crayons before a panel of judges.  The winning group created inspirational wax candles with tea lights.  All the students showcased and sold their products near the Tower Square Food Court earlier today.
