Not only are academic courses offered at the UMass Center, but there are also opportunities to participate and collaborate on research projects.  The University of Massachusetts is known for its research efforts, working in collaboration with academic, government and private partners.  Research conducted by programs at the UMass Center at Springfield includes technical innovations and scholarly works that benefit society in general and the Greater Springfield area specifically.  Our current research partners are conducting studies in the areas of healthcare, eye-tracking research, human development, counseling, addictions, and language.  Some research studies compensate participates.  Click on the Research Initiative to learn more.
