"Squeeze Your Lemon, Not a Car" - Consumer Awareness Workshop

The purchase of a car is the second biggest financial decision consumers make. Before heading to a dealer for a test drive, there are many decisions, and steps to take before leaving your home. Making those decisions and taking those steps could get you the best deal on the vehicle that fits your needs. Empowering yourself beforehand could potentially save you money and a headache, and prevent you from purchasing a vehicle that is not dependable or reliable. The workshop facilitator is Milagros Johnson, Director of the Mayor's Office of Consumer Information working in cooperation with the MA Attorney General's Office. Johnson has over 20 years of experience educating and helping consumers advocate for their rights.
