Breast Cancer Survivors Sought for Study on Fatigue

Thursday, February 15, 2018

The UMass Amherst College of Nursing's Dr. Rachel K. Walker is seeking breast cancer survivors to participate in a study on fatigue.  Participants must be between 50 and 70 years old and have completed chemotherapy within the last six months to five years.  Participation would require one trip to flagship campus in Amherst.

A recent article on Masslive.com (click here) highlighted Dr. Walker's work.  One of the study's sponsors is the Rays of Hope Center for Breast Cancer Research, a collaboration among Springfield-based Baystate Medical Center, Pioneer Valley Life Sciences Institute, and UMass.
