Prerequisites: CICS 266 Internet Law and Policy; CICS 290S Cybersecurity; CICS 267 Information Risk Management The Trust Assurance and Cybersecurity Capstone Course finishes the TAC Program by engaging students in an experience that integrates the knowledge and skills acquired in the prerequisite courses while qualitatively adding organizational and professional development in applied information risk management settings. Learning Objectives of this course include: Integrating discrete subject areas such as Internet law and public policy, regulatory compliance, information security and privacy and information technology policy into applied work situations and environments Learning through experience organizational professional development, including: Personality tools and assessment Group dynamics Personal alignment with strategic goals Understanding strategic, organizational and operational assessment, integration and alignment Learning corporate information security and privacy awareness and training Incorporating training and awareness into job responsibilities and appraisals
